Ernehale Court is a new build scheme comprising of 12 no 2 bed supportive/specialist apartments and staff facilities along with 6 arm’s length independent living houses. The existing site had been home to a former sheltered housing scheme which contained 24 bedsits which over time was proving difficult and had become financially unviable to sustain.

The project was focused on encouraging good quality, well designed homes that would empower vulnerable households to live independently whilst receiving support tailored to meet the needs of their household. It has been designed to meet BREEAM Multi Residential “Excellent”, and the requirements of Building For Life, Secure By Design, Lifetime Homes and HAPPI Principles. The project was nominated for the ‘Project of the year Award’ at East Midland Awards.
