Great Places Housing appointed Arcus as Employers Agent and Principal Designer/CDM Advisor on the scheme comprising of 25 units. The objective was to provide a maximum density affordable housing scheme given the high demand in the local area. The project, which was a relatively straight forward build with good design, and what initially was considered as reasonably good ground, faced challenges as a result of the retaining structure found within the ground, requiring the works to be adapted.

The project team also faced the challenge of the Covid19 pandemic, but despite this the project was completed to a high standard and was well liked by the customers who ultimately occupied the scheme. An environment of trust and respect had been established with the delivery team, and this was a major factor in the success of the project.
