Arcus are delighted to be supporting Helix Arts, a local charity, through provision of architectural services.
Helix Arts are a charity working with vulnerable communities in the North East with core funding provided by Arts Council England. Their mission is to support everyone to take part in the arts equally, employing artists to co-create work across the North East to reduce health inequalities.
As part of their 40th anniversary ambitions, Helix Arts relocated to the North Shields cultural Quarter with support from North Tyneside Council. The new premise is located on the first and second floors in Howard House Commercial Centre which is a Grade II Listed Building.
Having conducted a site survey, Arcus produced floor plans to assist with space planning for the office areas and configured event spaces with flexibility in mind for future exhibitions, seminars and working groups.
Arcus are proud of our charitable work and to be supporting this fantastic initiative local to our Newcastle office. The opening event took places on Saturday, with both the space and display of artistic talent looking incredible.
