April is Stress Awareness Month. We want to encourage all staff and clients to look after their mental health and take part in “Work Right”- a government campaign by the Health & Safety Executive aimed at helping smaller businesses and workers to improve all aspects of mental and physical health in the workplace.
Stress can affect anyone and have a huge impact on health and ability to function. According to HSE stress, depression and anxiety account for a huge 51% of all work-related ill health cases and 55% of all working days lost due to work-related ill health. It’s important that employer’s and workers work together to prevent, reduce and manage stress caused by the workplace and to support each other.
