Andrew joined Arcus in 1981, and over the years he’s gained considerable experience across the Housing, Commercial, Utilities, Education and Government sectors. As the Practice’s resident adrenaline junkie, whenever his schedule allows, Andrew pursues his need for speed: skiing, mountain biking, sailing and riding his Ducati.

Clive joined the Practice in 1986 as a Building Surveying Graduate, becoming a Partner in the mid 1990’s. Since then he’s been instrumental in growing and guiding the business to where we are today. When he's not busy managing the business, staff, and client projects, Clive spends time supporting Derby County (someone has to!) and telling Dad jokes that are so bad, they’re actually good!

Andrew first joined the Practice in 1988 as a Building Surveying Graduate, over 3 decades later he assures us he’s matured at least a little bit. Fuelled by vast quantities of Yorkshire Tea, he’s Head of HR and acts as Project Manager, Chartered Surveyor and Principal Designer based in our London office.

Bobby has been with Arcus for over a decade and heads up our Architecture Department. With his fingers in nearly every pie, he is a founding member of IFSS and dotBE. He is Past President of the APS and board trustee for IOSH.  In his increasingly small amount of spare time away from work, he can usually be found skiing, travelling, and playing with high tech gadgets.

A member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Julie joined Arcus in 2011, lured in from the world of Civil Engineering and Construction. She’s now our Head of Marketing and Business Development, but her diverse skill set means she’s involved in just about every aspect of the business. On the occasions Julie takes a holiday, she normally escapes to her seaside retreat in Wales.

Vicky is our lovely Director of Finance, who somehow tolerates Clive’s jokes both in the office and at home. Powered by a mix of early morning gym sessions and shopping trips, she keeps our finances in order and ensures that everything continues to tick over smoothly.

Since joining Arcus in 1994 as a graduate, Carl achieved Chartered Building Surveyor status and now manages the Liverpool Office. When he’s not looking for his ball on the golf course he is busy riding his motorbike around the Lake District or North Wales. He also leads our Professional Services Department, ensuring that clients comply with current legislative requirements and Arcus staff work to regulatory and best practice guidance.

Before joining Arcus, Dave served 12 years in The Royal Engineers working on essential services and base camp infra-structure and Force Protection. Having swapped dusty base camps for air-conditioned offices, he now manages the London office, who he tells us are much more unruly than his old troop.

An award-winning Architect with an impressive portfolio, having become fed-up with poor weather and football Steve migrated from Scotland to the North East where he manages the Newcastle office. A former national Subbuteo player and failed professional footballer, he now spends his time brewing real ale and being a guest lecturer and critic at Newcastle University.

Tim became an Associate Partner at Arcus in 2021 before taking on his current role of Office Partner in our Manchester office. With wide ranging experience, he specialises in delivering high quality schemes for the healthcare, education and housing sectors. When he manages to find time, Tim enjoys taking to his bike and throwing himself down mountains as fast as he can.
