We’re excited to provide architectural services for the improvement works at The St Helens Book Stop Limited as part of our commitment to corporate social responsibility (CSR).
Clive Sellers, Managing Partner of Arcus, commented, “We were approached by Mike Gaskell, who has since retired but was formerly with Trowers. We’ve had a long-standing working relationship with Mike over the years, working with him many times before his retirement. Mike now serves as the Chair of the trustees, and he was very persuasive and hopeful about our support for this project. The St Helens Book Stop is a community bookshop dedicated to improving literacy rates in St. Helens, one of the most economically challenged areas in England. We felt that this aligned well with our key area of work in the social housing sector and is another way for us to contribute to the communities where we operate.”
Arcus look forward to continuing to support this worthwhile project as it progresses. For information on our commitment to social value, visit our CSR page.
