Arcus have been appointed as Contract Administrator, CDM Principal Designer and Retrofit Designer by Onward Homes to deliver energy efficiency upgrades in residents homes.
Onwards Homes, a leading North West housing association, has been successful in securing over £6.8m from the Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund (SHDF) Wave 2.1 to carry our energy efficiency works. The Social Housing Decarbonisation Fund was set up to help decarbonise the UK’s social housing stock to tackle fuel poverty, reduce carbon emissions and increase the energy efficiency of homes.
The works will involve retrofitting over 600 homes across Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Lancashire, with plans to install new energy efficient windows alongside external wall and roof insulation to create more sustainable, green and energy-efficient homes for residents.
